Install and Configure Cyberoam iAccess authentication client for Android OS
Applicable Cyberoam Version: 10.01.0 Build 667 onwards
Applicable GAC Android Client Version: 1.4 onwards

Applicable Android OS Version: 2.2 onwards


Cyberoam iAccess authentication client for Android OS enables users to authenticate with Cyberoam and log into their networks through their Android devices like mobile phones, Tablets, etc. It is a standalone application that authenticates users with Cyberoam.

Cyberoam iAccess is enriched with the following features:

-   Automatic log on when Wi-Fi is enabled
-   Automatic log on when device restarts
-   Support of latest Android OS 4.4 KitKat


Install and configure Cyberoam iAccess authentication client in an Android mobile phone.


To configure Client in Android device, follow the steps given below.

Step 1: Download and Install Client

Download Client and install it in your mobile device. You can download the Client from: 

Step 2: Configure Client
·         Start Client application. The login screen appears. Before logging in, you need to define settings for the Client. Click Settings to 
      configure the client, as shown below.


   Click Gateway IP to set the Cyberoam IP Address as your authentication gateway. You can obtain your Cyberoam IP Address from your 
    Network Administrator. By default, the Gateway is set as


   Specify IP Address of the authentication gateway as shown in the screen. Here, as an example we have set Gateway IP as


   Click OK to save the Gateway IP and return to the Settings page to set parameters as shown in the table given below.

Show Notification Messages

Enabled (Default)

When enabled, user receives notifications on the Notification Bar on events like login, logout or errors. Disable if you do not want to receive notifications

Auto Login

Enabled (Default)

When enables, user automatically logs in on application restart. Disable if you do not want to login automatically.

Save Password

Enabled (Default)

When enable client saves your password. This option is automatically enabled if Auto Login is enabled. Disable if you do not want client to save your password. 


Step 3: Login into Client

Once settings are specified, tap Back button to go to the login page, enter your credentials and click Login to log into the client.

After successful login, minimize client and start using the Internet.

Step 4: Logout

After using the Internet, you can logout of Client by clicking:

: This only logs you out. The application continues to run in the background.
Close (Recommended when Internet not in use): This logs you out and closes the Client application.

-      On upgrading from a previous version of the GAC to version 1.5.03, the Auto Login feature is enabled by default even if you have kept
       it disabled in previous version.
-      Instead of widgets use shortcuts to avoid unpredictable result.
-      GAC auto-detects and attempts to log in the configured Cyberoam. It gives a message “Gateway not reachable” if it is not able to detect or connect to the Wireless Access Point. Tap
       the message on the notification bar and close the application by tapping the Close button of the app, to stop receiving the messages.
